# Dora

> Dora is the AI account manager for teams that do client work. Requests, files, and conversations in one portal under your brand, with Dora doing the work in between.

Hi, I'm Dora, the AI account manager your clients talk to. I take their requests, ask for what's missing, keep every file in order, and get the work signed off. Your team just does the work.

## How it works

- **Add your website**: Dora reads it and sets up your portal, with request types and a brand library, in about a minute.
- **Clients ask**: However they like, even vaguely. Dora asks what's missing and turns it into a clear brief.
- **You deliver**: Clients approve in one click. If nobody replies, it approves itself after a few days.

## For your team

- **Ask her anything**: Ask what's waiting on a client, or tell her to open a request or invite someone. Every change waits for your click.
- **A team for every account**: Give each client a lead and a team. Clients see their people, and their requests go to them.
- **She keeps work moving**: Dora suggests who should take each request and why, or assigns it herself. She nudges quiet clients and keeps everyone's next three in order.
- **Proof of what you delivered**: Every month, a record of what shipped, what got approved, and how fast. Extra work goes out as an estimate the client approves in one click.

## For your clients

- **Clients know what needs them**: Each client opens their portal to a short list of what's on them, and what to do about each one.
- **She's in the thread**: Mention @Dora on any request. She answers clients, asks for what's missing, updates the brief, and hands it back to your team.
- **Replies straight from email**: Clients answer from their inbox and it lands in the right request. Quick changes come as one email, not seven.
- **A library that sorts itself**: Clients drop in logos, guidelines, and docs. Dora files each one where it belongs.

## Your own AI

Connect Claude or ChatGPT and it works like Dora: it knows your clients, starts from her briefing, and can ask her anything. Hand any request to Claude Code or Codex with the full brief. Dora works over MCP.

Connect Claude, ChatGPT, or any MCP client to `https://dora.work/mcp`, sign in, and approve. It acts as you, with the same access you have in Dora. In Claude Code:

```bash
claude mcp add --transport http dora https://dora.work/mcp
```

## Questions

### What is Dora?

Dora is an AI account manager and client portal for agencies and studios. Each client gets a branded portal for requests and files, and Dora turns what they send into clear briefs, keeps track of what's waiting on whom, and gets finished work approved.

### Who is Dora for?

Dora is for agencies, studios, and any team that does ongoing work for clients, like design studios, dev shops, marketing agencies, and fractional teams. If your clients send you requests, feedback, and files, Dora handles that side so your team can focus on the work.

### How does Dora work?

You add your website and Dora sets up your client portal in about a minute, with request types and a brand library to match. Clients send requests however they like, Dora asks for anything missing, and your team gets a clear brief. When the work is done, clients approve it in one click.

### Can Dora make changes without my approval?

Only when you ask. If you mention Dora on a request, she answers, updates the brief, and hands it back to your team. She assigns new requests on her own only if you turn that on, and in her chat panel every change she suggests waits for your click.

### Do clients need an account to use the portal?

No. Clients don't need a password or an app. The invite email signs them straight into their portal, after that they sign in with a link sent to their email, and they can reply to updates straight from their inbox.

### Can I put my own brand on the client portal?

Yes. Your logo and name appear in the portal and in every email your clients get, so the portal feels like part of your studio.

### How much does Dora cost?

Your first client is free, forever. Each client after that is $10 a month, charged when you add them, with all of Dora included and unlimited team seats. Archive a client you're not working with and it drops off at your next renewal.

### Does Dora work with Claude, ChatGPT, and other AI tools?

Yes. Dora has an MCP server and a full API, so Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex, or your own scripts can read your clients and requests and do anything you can do in the app. Your AI can also ask Dora questions directly.

### When am I charged?

When you add a client past your first, your card is charged for the rest of the month, then $10 each month after. Archive a client and it drops off at your next renewal.

### Is anything held back on the free client?

No features are held back. The free client comes with 1 GB of storage and a smaller Dora allowance, and each client you add brings more of both.

### Does Dora cost extra?

No. Each client brings Dora's allowance with it, shared across your company. On a heavy month her chat can pause until the next one. Her replies to your clients keep going, and your own AI through Dora's MCP has no limit.

### Can I cancel?

Yes, anytime, from Billing. You keep your clients until the end of the month, then go back to one free client.

### Who handles tax and invoices?

Payments go through Stripe, which handles sales tax and VAT and sends your receipts and invoices.
