Connect Frame.io and Dora can find a client's project and link the latest cut in the request, so review happens on the right version.

  1. 1

    Open Integrations

In Dora, open Settings and find Frame.io under Integrations, or search for it.

  2. 2

    Sign in to Frame.io

Choose Connect. Frame.io asks you to sign in and allow access, then sends you back to Dora, connected. There's no key to copy.

  3. 3

    Ask, or tag it

Ask Dora in her chat or on a request, or type $Frame.io to point her at it.

A few things to ask, and what she does with them.

  • Link the newest cut

Ask "Which Frame.io project has the Pinewood launch video, and what's the newest version?" Dora finds it and adds the link.

  • Hand over with the right file

Before you submit, ask "Is this the latest Acme cut in Frame.io?" Dora checks the project for newer versions.

  • Keep projects and requests together

Ask "Which Frame.io projects belong to Halcyon's open requests?" Dora matches them up.

  • Your account, your connection

You connect Frame.io for yourself. Dora uses it only when you ask, and nobody else on your team can reach your Frame.io through her.

  • Read-only

Dora only gets the tools Frame.io marks as read-only. She looks things up; she doesn't edit, delete, or send anything in Frame.io.

  • A summary and a link

She brings in what the task needs, summarized, with a link back to Frame.io, instead of pasting everything into the request.

  • Dora can find your Frame.io projects and link the latest cut. You connect your own Frame.io account, and Dora reads from it when you ask: in her chat, on a request, or while you write one. She only reads, and brings back a summary with a link to the source.

  • With the Adobe account you use for Frame.io. Choose Connect in Dora and sign in on Adobe's page.

  • The projects your Frame.io account can open. She signs in as you, with your access.

  • Open Settings in Dora, find Frame.io under Integrations, and choose Connect. You sign in on Frame.io's own page and allow access, and you're sent back to Dora, connected. There's no API key to copy.

  • Only you. Each person connects their own apps, and Dora uses only the connections of the person asking. If a teammate needs Frame.io too, they connect their own account.

  • Ask in plain words, like "check Frame.io", or type $ and pick Frame.io. It shows as a tag in comments and in Dora's chat, and tells her which app to use for that ask.

  • No. Integrations are on every Dora plan, including your free first client. Asking Dora counts toward your company's Dora allowance like any other ask, and your Frame.io plan is separate.

  • In Dora, open Settings, find Frame.io under Integrations, and choose Disconnect. Dora stops using it right away.
