Connect Stripe and Dora can look up invoices and payments, like whether a client has paid, so you know before you start the next piece of work or send a reminder.

    Open Integrations

    In Dora, open Settings and find Stripe under Integrations, or search for it.

    Sign in to Stripe

    Choose Connect. Stripe asks you to sign in and allow access, then sends you back to Dora, connected. There's no key to copy.

    Ask Dora in her chat or on a request, or type $Stripe to point her at it.

A few things to ask, and what she does with them.

  • Check before you start

    Ask "Has Halcyon paid the October invoice in Stripe?" Dora looks it up and answers.

  • Chase the right invoice

    Ask "Which Acme invoices are overdue, and draft a friendly reminder." Dora lists them and writes the note for you to send.

  • Match estimates to invoices

    Ask "Which estimates did Pinewood approve this month, and are they invoiced in Stripe?" Dora checks both.

  • Your account, your connection

    You connect Stripe for yourself. Dora uses it only when you ask, and nobody else on your team can reach your Stripe through her.

  • Read-only

    Dora only gets the tools Stripe marks as read-only. She looks things up; she doesn't edit, delete, or send anything in Stripe.

  • A summary and a link

    She brings in what the task needs, summarized, with a link back to Stripe, instead of pasting everything into the request.

  • Dora can look up invoices and payments, like whether a client has paid. You connect your own Stripe account, and Dora reads from it when you ask: in her chat, on a request, or while you write one. She only reads, and brings back a summary with a link to the source.

  • No. Dora's own billing is separate. This connects your Stripe account so Dora can look up your clients' invoices and payments.

  • Open Settings in Dora, find Stripe under Integrations, and choose Connect. You sign in on Stripe's own page and allow access, and you're sent back to Dora, connected. There's no API key to copy.

  • Only you. Each person connects their own apps, and Dora uses only the connections of the person asking. If a teammate needs Stripe too, they connect their own account.

  • No. Integrations are on every Dora plan, including your free first client. Asking Dora counts toward your company's Dora allowance like any other ask, and your Stripe plan is separate.

  • In Dora, open Settings, find Stripe under Integrations, and choose Disconnect. Dora stops using it right away.
