Connect Buffer and Dora can see your scheduled and published social posts, so social requests start from what's queued and nothing goes out twice.
- 1
Open Integrations
In Dora, open Settings and find Buffer under Integrations, or search for it.
- 2
Sign in to Buffer
Choose Connect. Buffer asks you to sign in and allow access, then sends you back to Dora, connected. There's no key to copy.
- 3
Ask, or tag it
Ask Dora in her chat or on a request, or type $Buffer to point her at it.
A few things to ask, and what she does with them.
Check the queue
Ask "What's scheduled for Acme on Buffer next week?" Dora lists the posts before you plan more.
Report what went out
Ask "Which Halcyon posts went out on Buffer this month?" Dora lists them for the monthly update.
Avoid repeats
Ask "Have we already posted about Pinewood's webinar on Buffer?" Dora checks before you write another.
Your account, your connection
You connect Buffer for yourself. Dora uses it only when you ask, and nobody else on your team can reach your Buffer through her.
Read-only
Dora only gets the tools Buffer marks as read-only. She looks things up; she doesn't edit, delete, or send anything in Buffer.
A summary and a link
She brings in what the task needs, summarized, with a link back to Buffer, instead of pasting everything into the request.
Dora can see your scheduled and published social posts. You connect your own Buffer account, and Dora reads from it when you ask: in her chat, on a request, or while you write one. She only reads, and brings back a summary with a link to the source.
The channels your Buffer account manages. She sees their scheduled and published posts.
No. She reads your queue and history. Scheduling stays in Buffer.
Open Settings in Dora, find Buffer under Integrations, and choose Connect. You sign in on Buffer's own page and allow access, and you're sent back to Dora, connected. There's no API key to copy.
Only you. Each person connects their own apps, and Dora uses only the connections of the person asking. If a teammate needs Buffer too, they connect their own account.
Ask in plain words, like "check Buffer", or type $ and pick Buffer. It shows as a tag in comments and in Dora's chat, and tells her which app to use for that ask.
No. Integrations are on every Dora plan, including your free first client. Asking Dora counts toward your company's Dora allowance like any other ask, and your Buffer plan is separate.
In Dora, open Settings, find Buffer under Integrations, and choose Disconnect. Dora stops using it right away.
