Connect your Atlassian account and Dora can look up Jira issues and Confluence pages, so status updates and specs reach the client's request without anyone copying them across.
- 1
Open Integrations
In Dora, open Settings and find Jira and Confluence under Integrations, or search for it.
- 2
Sign in to Jira and Confluence
Choose Connect. Jira and Confluence asks you to sign in and allow access, then sends you back to Dora, connected. There's no key to copy.
- 3
Ask, or tag it
Ask Dora in her chat or on a request, or type $Jira and Confluence to point her at it.
A few things to ask, and what she does with them.
Jira status for the client
Ask "What's the status of Acme's SSO epic in Jira?" Dora finds the epic and its issues and sums up where it stands.
Spec from Confluence
Ask "Add the requirements from Halcyon's Confluence page to this brief." Dora reads the page and brings in what the request needs, with a link.
Search both at once
Ask "What do we have on Pinewood's data export in Jira and Confluence?" Dora searches both and lists what she finds.
Your account, your connection
You connect Jira and Confluence for yourself. Dora uses it only when you ask, and nobody else on your team can reach your Jira and Confluence through her.
Read-only
Dora only gets the tools Jira and Confluence marks as read-only. She looks things up; she doesn't edit, delete, or send anything in Jira and Confluence.
A summary and a link
She brings in what the task needs, summarized, with a link back to Jira and Confluence, instead of pasting everything into the request.
Dora can look up issues and pages on your Jira or Confluence Cloud site. You connect your own Jira and Confluence account, and Dora reads from it when you ask: in her chat, on a request, or while you write one. She only reads, and brings back a summary with a link to the source.
Yes. Sign in with your Atlassian account and choose your Cloud site. Dora reads issues and pages with your access.
Yes. One Atlassian sign-in covers Jira and Confluence on the same site.
Open Settings in Dora, find Jira and Confluence under Integrations, and choose Connect. You sign in on Jira and Confluence's own page and allow access, and you're sent back to Dora, connected. There's no API key to copy.
Only you. Each person connects their own apps, and Dora uses only the connections of the person asking. If a teammate needs Jira and Confluence too, they connect their own account.
Ask in plain words, like "check Jira and Confluence", or type $ and pick Jira and Confluence. It shows as a tag in comments and in Dora's chat, and tells her which app to use for that ask.
No. Integrations are on every Dora plan, including your free first client. Asking Dora counts toward your company's Dora allowance like any other ask, and your Jira and Confluence plan is separate.
In Dora, open Settings, find Jira and Confluence under Integrations, and choose Disconnect. Dora stops using it right away.
