Connect Close and Dora can look up leads and conversations in your CRM, so the history with a client is there when you write their brief or reply.

  1. 1

    Open Integrations

In Dora, open Settings and find Close under Integrations, or search for it.

  2. 2

    Sign in to Close

Choose Connect. Close asks you to sign in and allow access, then sends you back to Dora, connected. There's no key to copy.

  3. 3

    Ask, or tag it

Ask Dora in her chat or on a request, or type $Close to point her at it.

A few things to ask, and what she does with them.

  • Read the history

Ask "What have we discussed with Acme in Close this month?" Dora sums up the emails, calls, and notes on the lead.

  • Start onboarding right

Ask "What did Lumen Labs ask for before signing, according to Close?" Dora reads the lead so their first request matches.

  • Find the contact

Ask "Who's the decision maker at Halcyon in Close?" Dora finds the contact on the lead.

  • Your account, your connection

You connect Close for yourself. Dora uses it only when you ask, and nobody else on your team can reach your Close through her.

  • Read-only

Dora only gets the tools Close marks as read-only. She looks things up; she doesn't edit, delete, or send anything in Close.

  • A summary and a link

She brings in what the task needs, summarized, with a link back to Close, instead of pasting everything into the request.

  • Dora can look up leads and conversations in your Close CRM. You connect your own Close account, and Dora reads from it when you ask: in her chat, on a request, or while you write one. She only reads, and brings back a summary with a link to the source.

  • Leads, contacts, and conversations your Close account can see, with read-only access.

  • No. She reads from Close, and what she finds goes into Dora when you ask.

  • Open Settings in Dora, find Close under Integrations, and choose Connect. You sign in on Close's own page and allow access, and you're sent back to Dora, connected. There's no API key to copy.

  • Only you. Each person connects their own apps, and Dora uses only the connections of the person asking. If a teammate needs Close too, they connect their own account.

  • Ask in plain words, like "check Close", or type $ and pick Close. It shows as a tag in comments and in Dora's chat, and tells her which app to use for that ask.

  • No. Integrations are on every Dora plan, including your free first client. Asking Dora counts toward your company's Dora allowance like any other ask, and your Close plan is separate.

  • In Dora, open Settings, find Close under Integrations, and choose Disconnect. Dora stops using it right away.
