Connect Jam and Dora can read the bug reports your clients send, with the steps, console and network details, so a bug request starts complete.

  1. 1

    Open Integrations

In Dora, open Settings and find Jam under Integrations, or search for it.

  2. 2

    Sign in to Jam

Choose Connect. Jam asks you to sign in and allow access, then sends you back to Dora, connected. There's no key to copy.

  3. 3

    Ask, or tag it

Ask Dora in her chat or on a request, or type $Jam to point her at it.

A few things to ask, and what she does with them.

  • Read the report

Ask "What does Acme's latest Jam show?" Dora reads the steps and errors.

  • Write the brief

Paste a Jam link in a request. Dora uses it for the brief.

  • Spot the cause

Ask "Which request failed in that Jam?" Dora checks the network log.

  • Your account, your connection

You connect Jam for yourself. Dora uses it only when you ask, and nobody else on your team can reach your Jam through her.

  • Read-only

Dora only gets the tools Jam marks as read-only. She looks things up; she doesn't edit, delete, or send anything in Jam.

  • A summary and a link

She brings in what the task needs, summarized, with a link back to Jam, instead of pasting everything into the request.

  • Dora can read the bug reports your clients send with Jam. You connect your own Jam account, and Dora reads from it when you ask: in her chat, on a request, or while you write one. She only reads, and brings back a summary with a link to the source.

  • The ones your Jam account can access. She reads them with your access.

  • No. She reads them.

  • Open Settings in Dora, find Jam under Integrations, and choose Connect. You sign in on Jam's own page and allow access, and you're sent back to Dora, connected. There's no API key to copy.

  • Only you. Each person connects their own apps, and Dora uses only the connections of the person asking. If a teammate needs Jam too, they connect their own account.

  • Ask in plain words, like "check Jam", or type $ and pick Jam. It shows as a tag in comments and in Dora's chat, and tells her which app to use for that ask.

  • No. Integrations are on every Dora plan, including your free first client. Asking Dora counts toward your company's Dora allowance like any other ask, and your Jam plan is separate.

  • In Dora, open Settings, find Jam under Integrations, and choose Disconnect. Dora stops using it right away.
