Connect Sanity and Dora can look up content in your projects, so content requests start from the documents that are actually there.
- 1
Open Integrations
In Dora, open Settings and find Sanity under Integrations, or search for it.
- 2
Sign in to Sanity
Choose Connect. Sanity asks you to sign in and allow access, then sends you back to Dora, connected. There's no key to copy.
- 3
Ask, or tag it
Ask Dora in her chat or on a request, or type $Sanity to point her at it.
A few things to ask, and what she does with them.
Find the document
Ask "Find Acme's pricing page document in Sanity." Dora finds it and adds what matters to the request.
Check what's published
Ask "Which Halcyon case studies are in Sanity?" Dora lists them.
Brief with the real fields
Ask "What fields does Pinewood's product page have in Sanity?" Dora reads the content, so the brief asks for exactly what fits.
Your account, your connection
You connect Sanity for yourself. Dora uses it only when you ask, and nobody else on your team can reach your Sanity through her.
Read-only
Dora only gets the tools Sanity marks as read-only. She looks things up; she doesn't edit, delete, or send anything in Sanity.
A summary and a link
She brings in what the task needs, summarized, with a link back to Sanity, instead of pasting everything into the request.
Dora can look up content in your Sanity projects. You connect your own Sanity account, and Dora reads from it when you ask: in her chat, on a request, or while you write one. She only reads, and brings back a summary with a link to the source.
The projects your Sanity account can access. She reads content with your access.
No. She reads it. Edits stay with your team in Sanity Studio.
Open Settings in Dora, find Sanity under Integrations, and choose Connect. You sign in on Sanity's own page and allow access, and you're sent back to Dora, connected. There's no API key to copy.
Only you. Each person connects their own apps, and Dora uses only the connections of the person asking. If a teammate needs Sanity too, they connect their own account.
Ask in plain words, like "check Sanity", or type $ and pick Sanity. It shows as a tag in comments and in Dora's chat, and tells her which app to use for that ask.
No. Integrations are on every Dora plan, including your free first client. Asking Dora counts toward your company's Dora allowance like any other ask, and your Sanity plan is separate.
In Dora, open Settings, find Sanity under Integrations, and choose Disconnect. Dora stops using it right away.
