Connect Amplitude and Dora can pull product numbers from your projects, so improvement requests start from the data and results are easy to show.
- 1
Open Integrations
In Dora, open Settings and find Amplitude under Integrations, or search for it.
- 2
Sign in to Amplitude
Choose Connect. Amplitude asks you to sign in and allow access, then sends you back to Dora, connected. There's no key to copy.
- 3
Ask, or tag it
Ask Dora in her chat or on a request, or type $Amplitude to point her at it.
A few things to ask, and what she does with them.
Baseline for the brief
Ask "How many people finish Acme's onboarding in Amplitude?" Dora adds the number to the brief.
Results for the client
Ask "Has retention changed since Halcyon's redesign shipped?" Dora pulls the comparison for the update.
Pick what to fix
Ask "Which step in Pinewood's activation funnel loses the most people?" Dora pulls the funnel.
Your account, your connection
You connect Amplitude for yourself. Dora uses it only when you ask, and nobody else on your team can reach your Amplitude through her.
Read-only
Dora only gets the tools Amplitude marks as read-only. She looks things up; she doesn't edit, delete, or send anything in Amplitude.
A summary and a link
She brings in what the task needs, summarized, with a link back to Amplitude, instead of pasting everything into the request.
Dora can pull product numbers from your Amplitude projects. You connect your own Amplitude account, and Dora reads from it when you ask: in her chat, on a request, or while you write one. She only reads, and brings back a summary with a link to the source.
The projects your Amplitude account can see, with read-only access.
Only what you share. Dora brings the numbers to you, and you decide what goes in the client's update.
Open Settings in Dora, find Amplitude under Integrations, and choose Connect. You sign in on Amplitude's own page and allow access, and you're sent back to Dora, connected. There's no API key to copy.
Only you. Each person connects their own apps, and Dora uses only the connections of the person asking. If a teammate needs Amplitude too, they connect their own account.
Ask in plain words, like "check Amplitude", or type $ and pick Amplitude. It shows as a tag in comments and in Dora's chat, and tells her which app to use for that ask.
No. Integrations are on every Dora plan, including your free first client. Asking Dora counts toward your company's Dora allowance like any other ask, and your Amplitude plan is separate.
In Dora, open Settings, find Amplitude under Integrations, and choose Disconnect. Dora stops using it right away.
