Connect Mixpanel and Dora can pull product numbers from your projects, so a request to improve a flow comes with how it performs today.

  1. 1

    Open Integrations

In Dora, open Settings and find Mixpanel under Integrations, or search for it.

  2. 2

    Sign in to Mixpanel

Choose Connect. Mixpanel asks you to sign in and allow access, then sends you back to Dora, connected. There's no key to copy.

  3. 3

    Ask, or tag it

Ask Dora in her chat or on a request, or type $Mixpanel to point her at it.

A few things to ask, and what she does with them.

  • Numbers for the brief

Ask "What's the signup conversion on Acme's onboarding in Mixpanel?" Dora pulls it into the brief.

  • Show the result

Ask "Did Halcyon's new checkout change conversion since launch?" Dora compares the numbers for the client update.

  • Find the drop-off

Ask "Where do users drop off in Pinewood's signup funnel?" Dora pulls the funnel so the request targets the right step.

  • Your account, your connection

You connect Mixpanel for yourself. Dora uses it only when you ask, and nobody else on your team can reach your Mixpanel through her.

  • Read-only

Dora only gets the tools Mixpanel marks as read-only. She looks things up; she doesn't edit, delete, or send anything in Mixpanel.

  • A summary and a link

She brings in what the task needs, summarized, with a link back to Mixpanel, instead of pasting everything into the request.

  • Dora can pull product numbers from your Mixpanel projects. You connect your own Mixpanel account, and Dora reads from it when you ask: in her chat, on a request, or while you write one. She only reads, and brings back a summary with a link to the source.

  • The projects your Mixpanel account can see. She reads with your access.

  • Only what you share. Dora brings the numbers to you, and you decide what goes in the client's update.

  • Open Settings in Dora, find Mixpanel under Integrations, and choose Connect. You sign in on Mixpanel's own page and allow access, and you're sent back to Dora, connected. There's no API key to copy.

  • Only you. Each person connects their own apps, and Dora uses only the connections of the person asking. If a teammate needs Mixpanel too, they connect their own account.

  • Ask in plain words, like "check Mixpanel", or type $ and pick Mixpanel. It shows as a tag in comments and in Dora's chat, and tells her which app to use for that ask.

  • No. Integrations are on every Dora plan, including your free first client. Asking Dora counts toward your company's Dora allowance like any other ask, and your Mixpanel plan is separate.

  • In Dora, open Settings, find Mixpanel under Integrations, and choose Disconnect. Dora stops using it right away.
