Connect Avoma and Dora can find the calls behind a client account and bring the notes into Dora, so what sales promised and what the client asked for reach the team doing the work.
- 1
Open Integrations
In Dora, open Settings and find Avoma under Integrations, or search for it.
- 2
Sign in to Avoma
Choose Connect. Avoma asks you to sign in and allow access, then sends you back to Dora, connected. There's no key to copy.
- 3
Ask, or tag it
Ask Dora in her chat or on a request, or type $Avoma to point her at it.
A few things to ask, and what she does with them.
Hand over from sales
Ask "Use the Avoma notes from the Lumen Labs sales calls to set up their first request." The delivery team starts with what was promised, not a forwarded email.
Check a commitment
Ask "Did we promise Acme two rounds of changes on the Avoma call?" Dora finds the call and answers from its notes.
Prep the account review
Ask "What has Halcyon raised in our Avoma calls since the kickoff?" Dora lines the calls up against the work delivered for them.
Your account, your connection
You connect Avoma for yourself. Dora uses it only when you ask, and nobody else on your team can reach your Avoma through her.
Read-only
Dora only gets the tools Avoma marks as read-only. She looks things up; she doesn't edit, delete, or send anything in Avoma.
A summary and a link
She brings in what the task needs, summarized, with a link back to Avoma, instead of pasting everything into the request.
Dora can find your calls and pull notes into requests. You connect your own Avoma account, and Dora reads from it when you ask: in her chat, on a request, or while you write one. She only reads, and brings back a summary with a link to the source.
The calls your Avoma account can see. She signs in as you, so it follows the access you have in Avoma.
No. Avoma records and takes notes. Dora reads the notes in your account when you ask.
Open Settings in Dora, find Avoma under Integrations, and choose Connect. You sign in on Avoma's own page and allow access, and you're sent back to Dora, connected. There's no API key to copy.
Only you. Each person connects their own apps, and Dora uses only the connections of the person asking. If a teammate needs Avoma too, they connect their own account.
Ask in plain words, like "check Avoma", or type $ and pick Avoma. It shows as a tag in comments and in Dora's chat, and tells her which app to use for that ask.
No. Integrations are on every Dora plan, including your free first client. Asking Dora counts toward your company's Dora allowance like any other ask, and your Avoma plan is separate.
In Dora, open Settings, find Avoma under Integrations, and choose Disconnect. Dora stops using it right away.
