Connect Otter and Dora can find the call where a client asked for something, pull the notes into the request, and quote what was said when it matters. Nobody rewatches a recording to write a brief.

  1. 1

    Open Integrations

In Dora, open Settings and find Otter under Integrations, or search for it.

  2. 2

    Sign in to Otter

Choose Connect. Otter asks you to sign in and allow access, then sends you back to Dora, connected. There's no key to copy.

  3. 3

    Ask, or tag it

Ask Dora in her chat or on a request, or type $Otter to point her at it.

A few things to ask, and what she does with them.

  • Brief from the kickoff call

Ask "Use Tuesday's Otter call with Acme to fill in this request." Dora finds the meeting, brings the asks and decisions into the brief, and links the recording.

  • Settle what was agreed

Ask "Did Halcyon pick the blue or the green on last week's call?" Dora searches your Otter meetings and answers with the part of the transcript that says so.

  • Catch up before the next call

Ask "Summarize my last three Otter calls with Pinewood and what's still open." Dora reads the summaries and lines them up against Pinewood's open requests.

  • Your account, your connection

You connect Otter for yourself. Dora uses it only when you ask, and nobody else on your team can reach your Otter through her.

  • Read-only

Dora only gets the tools Otter marks as read-only. She looks things up; she doesn't edit, delete, or send anything in Otter.

  • A summary and a link

She brings in what the task needs, summarized, with a link back to Otter, instead of pasting everything into the request.

  • Dora can find your meetings and pull notes and transcripts into requests. You connect your own Otter account, and Dora reads from it when you ask: in her chat, on a request, or while you write one. She only reads, and brings back a summary with a link to the source.

  • Yes, when the task needs exact words. Otter's search gives her meeting summaries, and she opens the full transcript only when you need what was said word for word, then quotes the part that matters.

  • The ones your Otter account can see. She signs in as you, so your meetings and the ones shared with you in Otter are included, and nobody else's.

  • Open Settings in Dora, find Otter under Integrations, and choose Connect. You sign in on Otter's own page and allow access, and you're sent back to Dora, connected. There's no API key to copy.

  • Only you. Each person connects their own apps, and Dora uses only the connections of the person asking. If a teammate needs Otter too, they connect their own account.

  • Ask in plain words, like "check Otter", or type $ and pick Otter. It shows as a tag in comments and in Dora's chat, and tells her which app to use for that ask.

  • No. Integrations are on every Dora plan, including your free first client. Asking Dora counts toward your company's Dora allowance like any other ask, and your Otter plan is separate.

  • In Dora, open Settings, find Otter under Integrations, and choose Disconnect. Dora stops using it right away.
