Connect Fathom and Dora can find a recorded call and bring its summary into the request, so the brief starts from what the client said rather than what someone remembers.
- 1
Open Integrations
In Dora, open Settings and find Fathom under Integrations, or search for it.
- 2
Sign in to Fathom
Choose Connect. Fathom asks you to sign in and allow access, then sends you back to Dora, connected. There's no key to copy.
- 3
Ask, or tag it
Ask Dora in her chat or on a request, or type $Fathom to point her at it.
A few things to ask, and what she does with them.
Write the brief from the call
Ask "Fill in this request from my Fathom call with Lumen Labs this morning." Dora finds the call and writes the brief from its summary, with a link to the recording.
Check who asked for what
Ask "Who on Acme's side asked for the extra landing page?" Dora checks your Fathom calls and tells you who said it, and when.
Spot new work in the week's calls
Ask "Which of this week's Fathom calls mention work we haven't opened yet?" Dora reads the summaries and lists the asks with no request.
Your account, your connection
You connect Fathom for yourself. Dora uses it only when you ask, and nobody else on your team can reach your Fathom through her.
Read-only
Dora only gets the tools Fathom marks as read-only. She looks things up; she doesn't edit, delete, or send anything in Fathom.
A summary and a link
She brings in what the task needs, summarized, with a link back to Fathom, instead of pasting everything into the request.
Dora can find your recorded calls and pull summaries into requests. You connect your own Fathom account, and Dora reads from it when you ask: in her chat, on a request, or while you write one. She only reads, and brings back a summary with a link to the source.
No. Fathom records them. Dora reads the summaries in your Fathom account when you ask, and links back to the call.
The calls your Fathom account can see. She signs in as you, so teammates' private calls aren't included.
Open Settings in Dora, find Fathom under Integrations, and choose Connect. You sign in on Fathom's own page and allow access, and you're sent back to Dora, connected. There's no API key to copy.
Only you. Each person connects their own apps, and Dora uses only the connections of the person asking. If a teammate needs Fathom too, they connect their own account.
Ask in plain words, like "check Fathom", or type $ and pick Fathom. It shows as a tag in comments and in Dora's chat, and tells her which app to use for that ask.
No. Integrations are on every Dora plan, including your free first client. Asking Dora counts toward your company's Dora allowance like any other ask, and your Fathom plan is separate.
In Dora, open Settings, find Fathom under Integrations, and choose Disconnect. Dora stops using it right away.
