Connect Granola and Dora can find the meeting where the work was discussed and turn your notes into a brief the team can start from. Your notes stay in Granola; the request gets what it needs and a link back.

  1. 1

    Open Integrations

In Dora, open Settings and find Granola under Integrations, or search for it.

  2. 2

    Sign in to Granola

Choose Connect. Granola asks you to sign in and allow access, then sends you back to Dora, connected. There's no key to copy.

  3. 3

    Ask, or tag it

Ask Dora in her chat or on a request, or type $Granola to point her at it.

A few things to ask, and what she does with them.

  • Notes to request

Ask "Open a request from my Granola notes on the Lumen Labs call." Dora picks the request type, writes the brief from your notes, and flags what's still missing.

  • Pull in the decision

In an internal note, ask "@Dora what did we decide about the homepage in Monday's Granola meeting?" She finds the note and answers on the request with a link.

  • Find the asks that slipped

Ask "What did Acme ask for in our last two Granola meetings that isn't a request yet?" Dora compares your notes with Acme's open requests.

  • Your account, your connection

You connect Granola for yourself. Dora uses it only when you ask, and nobody else on your team can reach your Granola through her.

  • Read-only

Dora only gets the tools Granola marks as read-only. She looks things up; she doesn't edit, delete, or send anything in Granola.

  • A summary and a link

She brings in what the task needs, summarized, with a link back to Granola, instead of pasting everything into the request.

  • Dora can find your meeting notes and pull them into requests. You connect your own Granola account, and Dora reads from it when you ask: in her chat, on a request, or while you write one. She only reads, and brings back a summary with a link to the source.

  • The notes Granola shares through its MCP: your own notes, going back as far as your Granola plan allows. On Granola Enterprise, an admin may need to turn MCP on first.

  • No. She brings in what the task needs, like the asks, decisions, and dates, and links the note in Granola for anyone who wants the rest.

  • Open Settings in Dora, find Granola under Integrations, and choose Connect. You sign in on Granola's own page and allow access, and you're sent back to Dora, connected. There's no API key to copy.

  • Only you. Each person connects their own apps, and Dora uses only the connections of the person asking. If a teammate needs Granola too, they connect their own account.

  • Ask in plain words, like "check Granola", or type $ and pick Granola. It shows as a tag in comments and in Dora's chat, and tells her which app to use for that ask.

  • No. Integrations are on every Dora plan, including your free first client. Asking Dora counts toward your company's Dora allowance like any other ask, and your Granola plan is separate.

  • In Dora, open Settings, find Granola under Integrations, and choose Disconnect. Dora stops using it right away.
