Connect Coda and Dora can read your docs and look up rows in their tables, like a client tracker or a content plan, and bring the answer into the request.
- 1
Open Integrations
In Dora, open Settings and find Coda under Integrations, or search for it.
- 2
Sign in to Coda
Choose Connect. Coda asks you to sign in and allow access, then sends you back to Dora, connected. There's no key to copy.
- 3
Ask, or tag it
Ask Dora in her chat or on a request, or type $Coda to point her at it.
A few things to ask, and what she does with them.
Look up a row
Ask "What's next on Acme's content plan in Coda?" Dora finds the table and the row, and can open a request from it.
Brief from a doc
Paste a link and ask "Turn this Coda doc into a request for Halcyon." Dora reads it and writes the brief.
Check the tracker
Ask "Which Pinewood deliverables are marked done in our Coda tracker but not handed over in Dora?" Dora compares the two.
Your account, your connection
You connect Coda for yourself. Dora uses it only when you ask, and nobody else on your team can reach your Coda through her.
Read-only
Dora only gets the tools Coda marks as read-only. She looks things up; she doesn't edit, delete, or send anything in Coda.
A summary and a link
She brings in what the task needs, summarized, with a link back to Coda, instead of pasting everything into the request.
Dora can read your Coda docs and tables. You connect your own Coda account, and Dora reads from it when you ask: in her chat, on a request, or while you write one. She only reads, and brings back a summary with a link to the source.
The docs your Coda account can open. She signs in as you and reads with your access.
Yes. She can look up rows and columns in a doc's tables, which is often where trackers and plans live.
Open Settings in Dora, find Coda under Integrations, and choose Connect. You sign in on Coda's own page and allow access, and you're sent back to Dora, connected. There's no API key to copy.
Only you. Each person connects their own apps, and Dora uses only the connections of the person asking. If a teammate needs Coda too, they connect their own account.
Ask in plain words, like "check Coda", or type $ and pick Coda. It shows as a tag in comments and in Dora's chat, and tells her which app to use for that ask.
No. Integrations are on every Dora plan, including your free first client. Asking Dora counts toward your company's Dora allowance like any other ask, and your Coda plan is separate.
In Dora, open Settings, find Coda under Integrations, and choose Disconnect. Dora stops using it right away.
