Connect Miro and Dora can read the board from a workshop or a planning session, like the sticky notes or a sitemap, and turn it into requests your team can start on.

  1. 1

    Open Integrations

In Dora, open Settings and find Miro under Integrations, or search for it.

  2. 2

    Sign in to Miro

Choose Connect. Miro asks you to sign in and allow access, then sends you back to Dora, connected. There's no key to copy.

  3. 3

    Ask, or tag it

Ask Dora in her chat or on a request, or type $Miro to point her at it.

A few things to ask, and what she does with them.

  • Workshop to requests

Ask "Turn the priorities on our Miro board from the Acme workshop into requests." Dora drafts each one with a brief for you to approve.

  • Sitemap to scope

Ask "List the pages on Halcyon's Miro sitemap." Dora reads the board, and you have the scope for the website request.

  • Bring the board into the brief

Ask "Add the user flow from this Miro board to the brief." Dora summarizes it in the request and links the board.

  • Your account, your connection

You connect Miro for yourself. Dora uses it only when you ask, and nobody else on your team can reach your Miro through her.

  • Read-only

Dora only gets the tools Miro marks as read-only. She looks things up; she doesn't edit, delete, or send anything in Miro.

  • A summary and a link

She brings in what the task needs, summarized, with a link back to Miro, instead of pasting everything into the request.

  • Dora can read your Miro boards, like workshop notes or a sitemap. You connect your own Miro account, and Dora reads from it when you ask: in her chat, on a request, or while you write one. She only reads, and brings back a summary with a link to the source.

  • The boards your Miro account can open. She signs in as you and reads with your access.

  • She reads the board's content, like its notes and text, and summarizes it for the task. For anything visual, the link to the board goes in the request.

  • Open Settings in Dora, find Miro under Integrations, and choose Connect. You sign in on Miro's own page and allow access, and you're sent back to Dora, connected. There's no API key to copy.

  • Only you. Each person connects their own apps, and Dora uses only the connections of the person asking. If a teammate needs Miro too, they connect their own account.

  • Ask in plain words, like "check Miro", or type $ and pick Miro. It shows as a tag in comments and in Dora's chat, and tells her which app to use for that ask.

  • No. Integrations are on every Dora plan, including your free first client. Asking Dora counts toward your company's Dora allowance like any other ask, and your Miro plan is separate.

  • In Dora, open Settings, find Miro under Integrations, and choose Disconnect. Dora stops using it right away.
