Connect Notion and Dora can read the brief, spec, or meeting notes you keep there and bring what matters into a request, even when the page isn't public.

  1. 1

    Open Integrations

In Dora, open Settings and find Notion under Integrations, or search for it.

  2. 2

    Sign in to Notion

Choose Connect. Notion asks you to sign in and allow access, then sends you back to Dora, connected. There's no key to copy.

  3. 3

    Ask, or tag it

Ask Dora in her chat or on a request, or type $Notion to point her at it.

A few things to ask, and what she does with them.

  • Brief from a Notion page

Paste a link and ask "Open a request for Acme from this Notion brief." Dora reads the page, picks the request type, and writes the brief.

  • Check against the scope

Ask "Does the new Halcyon request fit the scope page in Notion?" Dora reads both and tells you what's in and what isn't.

  • Use the notes you already took

Ask "What did we agree with Pinewood in last week's Notion meeting notes?" Dora finds the page and answers with a link.

  • Your account, your connection

You connect Notion for yourself. Dora uses it only when you ask, and nobody else on your team can reach your Notion through her.

  • Read-only

Dora only gets the tools Notion marks as read-only. She looks things up; she doesn't edit, delete, or send anything in Notion.

  • A summary and a link

She brings in what the task needs, summarized, with a link back to Notion, instead of pasting everything into the request.

  • Dora can read your Notion pages, like a brief or a client's meeting notes. You connect your own Notion account, and Dora reads from it when you ask: in her chat, on a request, or while you write one. She only reads, and brings back a summary with a link to the source.

  • The pages you can access in the Notion workspace you choose when you sign in. She reads as you, so private pages you can't see stay out of reach.

  • Yes. Paste it in Dora's chat or in a request, and with Notion connected she reads the page as you, even if it isn't shared publicly.

  • Open Settings in Dora, find Notion under Integrations, and choose Connect. You sign in on Notion's own page and allow access, and you're sent back to Dora, connected. There's no API key to copy.

  • Only you. Each person connects their own apps, and Dora uses only the connections of the person asking. If a teammate needs Notion too, they connect their own account.

  • Ask in plain words, like "check Notion", or type $ and pick Notion. It shows as a tag in comments and in Dora's chat, and tells her which app to use for that ask.

  • No. Integrations are on every Dora plan, including your free first client. Asking Dora counts toward your company's Dora allowance like any other ask, and your Notion plan is separate.

  • In Dora, open Settings, find Notion under Integrations, and choose Disconnect. Dora stops using it right away.
