Connect Read.ai and Dora can find the meeting summary you need and bring it into a request, with the decisions and next steps the team needs to start.
- 1
Open Integrations
In Dora, open Settings and find Read.ai under Integrations, or search for it.
- 2
Sign in to Read.ai
Choose Connect. Read.ai asks you to sign in and allow access, then sends you back to Dora, connected. There's no key to copy.
- 3
Ask, or tag it
Ask Dora in her chat or on a request, or type $Read.ai to point her at it.
A few things to ask, and what she does with them.
Next steps to requests
Ask "Open requests for the next steps in my Read.ai summary of the Halcyon review." Dora drafts each one with a brief for you to approve.
Brief with context
Ask "Add what Acme said about the audience in yesterday's Read.ai meeting to this brief." Dora finds the summary and adds the relevant part with a link.
Prep in a minute
Ask "What did we cover in my last Read.ai meeting with Pinewood?" Dora reads the summary and reminds you what's open before the next call.
Your account, your connection
You connect Read.ai for yourself. Dora uses it only when you ask, and nobody else on your team can reach your Read.ai through her.
Read-only
Dora only gets the tools Read.ai marks as read-only. She looks things up; she doesn't edit, delete, or send anything in Read.ai.
A summary and a link
She brings in what the task needs, summarized, with a link back to Read.ai, instead of pasting everything into the request.
Dora can find your meeting summaries and pull them into requests. You connect your own Read.ai account, and Dora reads from it when you ask: in her chat, on a request, or while you write one. She only reads, and brings back a summary with a link to the source.
The meetings your Read.ai account can see. She signs in as you, so it's your meetings and the ones shared with you.
No. Read.ai takes the notes. Dora reads the summaries already in your account when you ask.
Open Settings in Dora, find Read.ai under Integrations, and choose Connect. You sign in on Read.ai's own page and allow access, and you're sent back to Dora, connected. There's no API key to copy.
Only you. Each person connects their own apps, and Dora uses only the connections of the person asking. If a teammate needs Read.ai too, they connect their own account.
Ask in plain words, like "check Read.ai", or type $ and pick Read.ai. It shows as a tag in comments and in Dora's chat, and tells her which app to use for that ask.
No. Integrations are on every Dora plan, including your free first client. Asking Dora counts toward your company's Dora allowance like any other ask, and your Read.ai plan is separate.
In Dora, open Settings, find Read.ai under Integrations, and choose Disconnect. Dora stops using it right away.
